Central Bohemian Uplands is completely undiscovered area for me and I was fascinated by it when visiting mountain Rana (457 m). Omnipresent lowlands creates fertile fields, which are rippled by peeks coming out of nowhere and offering a lot of small trips ended by wonderful views of surrounding landscape. This area is geomorphological complex, which belongs to the Area under the Ore Mountains. 84 % of Central Bohemian Uplands is covered by CHKO Central Bohemian Uplands and the highest peak is Milesovka (837 m). I know, I will be returning there... I will focus on beating the other peaks and hence it deserves place in Window to Nature. Recommend on:         |
